Gallery 37 Signposting Project

As part of Gallery 37’s Summer Programme, twenty young people will be teaming up with professional artists from Also Studio and emerging visual artists working in Birmingham.
The aim of the project is for each apprentice to produce a design for a landmark that makes the general public aware of the redevelopment of the Eastside of Birmingham. The past, present and future of the Eastside will be the starting point for inspiration. The project will culminate in an exhibition of the apprentice’s development work and final renderings and scale models.
The project highlights the exciting regeneration of the Eastside of the City, while giving young people the opportunity to develope their skills in their chosen field and gain accreditation for their work.
