Starting in the Foyle Gallery at mac, you will receive instructions which take you out into Cannon Hill Park. There you’ll discover how the intimacy of a stranger can resemble a cinematic moment. You may unexpectedly feel that you’re connected. Will you meet again? The Space Between Us investigates private moments between two people in public settings. 1157 PERFORMANCE GROUP: THE LIVING ROOM
An exquisite inquisition by Jo Dagless
Join 1157 in the living room for Part 1 of CUL DE SAC - 3 contemporary new works concerning suburbia. The entire contents of Jo Dagless’s actual living room will be installed in mac’s Foyle Gallery. Visitors will be invited to enter the living room for a nice cup of tea and a chat. The Living Room is an evolving audio visual space where visitors are encouraged to leave their mark, express themselves and make themselves at home, exploring how easy it is to lose ourselves in fascination with the uncanny and ignore the ordinariness of it all.
