This year the Conservatoire’s annual Music Xtra Festival kicks off the summer. A celebration of musical creativity, the Festival will include new work from up-and-coming composers, world music workshops and performances, jazz, classical and contemporary music concerts and a day dedicated to folk music. Special events include the Conservatoire’s summer musical, and a concert of music with live electronics to celebrate the launch of the recently refurbished Recital Hall, featuring a multi-media work by guest composer Luca Francesconi and a new commission from Lamberto Coccioli to be performed by violist Rivka Golani.
