AND INTRODUCING:The Reggae Rockz Young All-Stars
Reggae Rockz was one of the highlights of last year’s Artsfest. This year it returns, bigger and better, opening ArtsFest 2005 with a whole evening of classic reggae, ska and 2-tone. Don’t miss the return to Birmingham of the legendary STEEL PULSE, who rose from Handsworth to become a major force in world reggae, featuring songs from their newly released and grammy-award nominated album African Holocaust. Continuing the local connection, The Beat and The Specials appear alongside Dawn Penn, a classic female voice of reggae, with TuffLuv singing the great tracks of Lovers Rock.
