22- 26 May Cannes Film Festival
Screen West Midlands (SWM), FILM Birmingham and the Producers’ Forum are proud to announce the first West Midlands Film Hub at Cannes Film Festival this year.
Filmmakers will be able to take advantage of the extensive facilities on offer including Wi-Fi, meeting space and screening areas, as well as benefiting from the numerous guest speakers who will be present throughout the week. The West Midlands Film Hub will be available from Monday 22 – Friday 26 May, 10.30 – 18.00, for anyone wanting to do business and to simply relax with a drink or a bite to eat.
In addition seven of the West Midlands’ most promising up-and-coming filmmakers will have their latest films, made with support from SWM through the Digital Shorts scheme, shown throughout the prestigious event. The appearance at Cannes means that top film producers from around the world will be able to see the latest work produced from the region.
