This years ArtsFest promises to be the usual array of colour, energy and inspiration as the best of Birmingham’s talent takes to the stage and street.
ArtsFest 06 kicks off on Friday 8th September with a lively opening event in Centenary Square. Performances for all the family then take place in the city’s main squares and venues over the weekend. Additions to the festival this year include a special young person’s showcase and a new district of cultural activity in Eastside.
Participating venues include Island House, The Custard Factory, Symphony Hall, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, CBSO centre, the Mailbox, Brindley Place, the Rep and The Drum.
