The spectacular sound of 1000 voices will come together in Centenary Square to celebrate Birmingham and the region’s vibrant singing culture. Whether you are part of a traditional choir, a rap group or just love singing in the shower, Big Voice² needs you!
This year sees Roderick Williams, one of the country’s leading singers compose a fun and vibrant vocal piece. The work is written for four groups which form the BIG VOICE² choir who will be led by professional conductors, a master of ceremonies and percussion from around the world. As the performance progresses everyone in the audience will be encouraged to take part and will learn their “tunes” through call & response.
